| Biography: | |
| Alison White was born in England, immigrated to Canada as a girl and was raised in the farming country of Langley. Her country upbringing has had a strong influence on her subject matter choices with a preference for barns and buildings, which she treats with a whimsical style. Alison has long been involved in the artistic community. Her painting in both watercolour and acrylic have brought her much solace and pleasure for many years. She currently is exploring the richness of pastel in her work. |

| A member and past president of the Port Moody Art Association she is also a past president of Port Moody Festival of the Arts Society. She is presently Treasurer of the P.M.A.A. | |

| Alison has had local shows in Port Coquitlam and at the Coquitlam, Port Moody and New Westminster libraries, as well as the Silk Purse in West Vancouver. | |

| Alison has exhibited in Port Coquitlam, New Westminster, West Vancouver and Burnaby. | |
| Collections: | |
| Her work has been collected from Nova Scotia to B.C. Judith Forst, opera singer has several pieces and Cathy Scrimshaw, novelist is a collector. | |
| Instruction and Workshops: | |
| Alison has attended many workshops under well-known artists such as Tony O'Regan, Kiff Holland and Maggie White. | |
