| I have always liked drawing, enjoying the feeling of creating something enjoyed by others. After retiring from a mechanical background, I began to pursue my artistic dream, taking courses at Wilson Centre with Tim White and Doris Patko.
I prefer to paint seascapes and anything having to do with the sea but have done landscapes and florals as well. Working with acrylic and watercolour, I find my work evolving as I am exposed to different artists, their styles and passions, using their chosen medium. I am Past President of Art Focus, am also a member and Past President of the Suite E Life Drawing Group, and a member of Port Moody Art Association. I have shown my work in the following shows & Exhibits:Eight shows with Art Focus, Port Moody Art Association Spring Show, Port Moody Art Association "Arts with a Heart", Shows at Place des Arts with Art Focus & Suite E Life Drawing Group, Port Coquitlam City Hall, Terry Fox Riverstone Theatre, Eagle Ridge Hospital, citysoup.ca, and Port Moody Art Gallery |
