Biography:
	Linda La Rochelle grew up in southern Alberta and was interested in drawing at an early age, sketching for friends at school, including doing her sister's art homework. When she was 12 she joined the local art group, attending regularly and produced some oil paintings for sale, as well as one for a raffle to earn money for the school's grad dance. During her last year in high school, Linda had already started her art course with Art Instruction Schools in the U.S. and upon completion of the four year correspondance course received her Certificate in Art, Advertising Layout and Design. Since then she has lived in Montreal, Toronto, and now Coquitlam all the while painting commissioned pieces of art, as well as being a part of the relevant area art club shows. The past 14 years has seen Linda working on a larger scale, painting murals on walls, which is one part of her Decorative Painting business, Murals by Linda. Of the many homes she has worked in, they include 1992 and 1994 Streets of Dreams, 1993 BC Home and Garden Showcase Home, PNE show home, Power Smart Home with Shell Bussey, as well as the Power Smart 'Visions' Home in Surrey. Many builders in the lower mainland have commissioned her business to decoratively paint in their showhomes, as well as, their clients' private homes.

	Summer of 2002 - Exhibiting in Artists in the Park at Rocky Point in Port Moody, along with other fellow artists. Twice yearly, participation in the Port Moody Art Association club shows, April and November. Hanging with Port Moody Art Assn - Boat House - Rocky Point until December 2002 Participating in "Paint the Town" fundraiser for Maple Ridge Art Gallery in Maple Ridge, painting designated locations on September 7th. Presently hanging at Port Moody City Hall, Original of Strathcona Spirits. Federation of Canadian Artists - Showing in March and April of 2003 Rocky Point Art Gallery and Studios - April and ongoing - Original and Giclee Prints Summer (July and August) Artists in the Park at Rocky Point in Port Moody, most days, when weather permits. August 16 - Palettes and Pops, Rocky Point Park. August 16th to Sept 1, 2003 Participating in a group Artists in Residence showing at Rocky Point Art Gallery and Studios. October 17, 2003 to Nov. 3, 2003 Participated in the Grand Opening show for Rocky Point Art Gallery & Studios
