Most portraits are head and neck shots however much larger paintings make comprise the full body. Adding a favorite toy, ball, or leash is a great idea! Interesting poses welcome! On their back playing, partly under a blanket, being mischievious, leash in the mouth... all these make for an interesting painting. Most portraits start at $300 with a few exceptions depending on size, type, medium, support and complexity. Pastel portraits come with an Archival mat.
